    Summary



    This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available.

    This is a Direct Hire Solicitation



    Duties

    • Administer anesthetic by inhalation, endotracheal intubation, regional, intravenous, or topical.
    • Apply new pharmacologic advances, with significant emphasis on drug safety, shorter durations of action, reversibility, and ease of administration.
    • Systematically collect data through interviews, observation, physical examination, and review of medical records, prior to scheduled surgery.
    • Observe the patient during the surgery, to accomplish and maintain the proper level of anesthesia depth and to prevent over-dosage.
    • Provide immediate, post-operative care to patients during their return to the intensive care unit or recovery room.
    • Participate in departmental continuous improvement programs and processes, emphasizing the latest developments and trends in the anesthesiology field.
