    Full-time School Social Worker Job – Near Oakland Maine

    We are seeking a qualified School Social Worker for a school-based position located near Oakland Maine This position is for the rest of the 22-23 school year.

    The School Social Worker will be working with a K-12 grade caseload and will be providing services that may include:

    Requirements:

    • Evaluations, IEP Minutes, Direct consult services, Crisis intervention
    • Assisting with SPED Dept.

    Day to Day:

    • Full-Time 32 hours a week
    • Will act in a "Social Worker" role with students and families. Previous School experience not required, but pediatric experience (like in a clinic) is highly preferred, if possible
    • On site
    • Mild to moderate caseload, K-12
    • Assisting with case management needs, supporting student needs K-12th grades, counseling support, assisting in communicating with teachers and parents, IEP support.
    • Position 1: Day Treatment
    • Conducts assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations
    • IEPs
    • Coordinates with administrators and other teaching staff
    • Position 2: Resource Room
    • Conducts assessments, testing and diagnostic examinations of students
    • Organizes and maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping
    • Encourages parental involvement in students' education
    • IEPS

    Requirements:

    • Master's in social work from an accredited college
    • Must hold ME SSW License Cert.
    • School-based experience is preferred but not required
