The Department for Children, Youth and Families

Youth Welfare Office is currently seeking to fill a full time position (39 hours/week) in the area of Supported Living within the Special Social Services department of the Social Services division.

The professionals in Supported Living provide ambulatory support to young adults, both with and without a migration background, in city apartments based on § 41 in conjunction with § 35 of the Social Code Book VIII, on their path towards independent living. Social Pedagogical Supported Living Specialist (m/f/d) (S 12 TVöD SuE)

Your responsibilities include:

Accompanying, advising and promoting young adults with and without a migration background with various problems in their daily lives Establishing and ensuring a binding cooperation with the recipients of assistance, as well as relevant individuals, institutions and/or specialist services Resource- and solution-oriented, appreciative work with the recipients of assistance while maintaining necessary and appropriate pedagogical distance Collaboratively developing an appropriate and meaningful daily structure Supporting the acquisition, expansion and consolidation of practical life skills, such as: managing provided living space, finances, shopping, household management, personal hygiene, etc.
