Overview:

The Early Care & Education Association (ECEA) is helping find people like you We are a network of licensed child care providers in the Upper Valley/Dartmouth region. We support providers in Sullivan and Grafton and Coos Counties in NH as well as Windsor and Orange Counties in VT. We are working to recruit qualified staff for positions in a variety of Childcare Centers.

Requirements for NH

Assistant Teacher-16 yrs old


Associate Teacher-18 yrs old, HS diploma or equivalent, 9 relevant credits in ECE, of which 3 credits are in Child or Human Development or para II certificate


Lead Teacher-18 yrs old, and either 18 relevant credits, of which 3 credits are in Child or Human Development and 1000 hours in ECE, a CDA or 5 years as a family provider


Center Director-21, HS diploma or equivalent, 3 credits in Supervision and Management, and either a relevant associate's or 3000 hours in ECE & a CDA


Responsibilities

Directors:
All employees report to the director. The director makes all of the decisions for the center. They are responsible for hiring, disciplinary action, center programming, scheduling, purchasing, staff files, and more. Directors often act as a mentor to staff and will assist with behavior management with students and staff relations.


Lead/Teacher:
Lead Teachers make decisions within their classroom with guidance from the director.

Their responsibilities include lesson planning, providing developmentally appropriate care and education, observation and assessments, and overseeing safety, conduct, and cleanliness in their classroom.


Associate & Assistant Teacher:

Associate and Assistant Teachers are responsible for providing developmentally appropriate care and education with guidance from the director and lead teacher.

They are also responsible for providing support to the Lead Teacher by helping with tasks such as meal times, classroom preparations, toileting, supervision, cleaning, and sanitizing.

$ $20.00 per hour
