    *CNC Machinist

    • 2nd or 3rd shift Available
    • Athens, AL
    * $25 - $34 p/h

    We are seeking a skilled *CNC Machinist* to join our team.

    As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts.

    This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.


    Duties:

    • Interpret blue prints, program, set-up, build and inspect parts in the tool room environment.
    • Operate and program all CNC Mazak Lathes
    • Produces prototype and sample products.
    • Required knowledge of steels, stresses, and materials.
    • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and grinding
    • Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures based on job requirements
    • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in machining preferred
    • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
    • Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications
    *Knowledge of Okuma, Mazatrol, G Code and other conversational CNC programming required.
