LOCATION:
Fairfield, IA

Associates and Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
Previous Surgical Services experience preferred, along with a few years of management experience in an acute care setting.
Hold a current RN License in Iowa at time of hire, as well as current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
HOURS AND COMPENSATION:
This position is full time.
Compensation ranges between $95K - $135K.
Full benefit package offered, including relocation/sign-on bonus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Surgical Services Director is a registered professional nurse who assumes 24-hour accountability and responsibility for overall Surgical Services operations.
Manage various aspects of patient care, ensuring clinical standards are maintained and appropriate staffing resources are available.
Participate in or chair committees, work groups, and meetings as required.
Provide leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of services consistent with the organization's mission, vision, values, and strategic plan.
Create annual budgets for surgical services, based on valid rationale, justification, and recommendations.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Facility has over 200 beds and the position reports to the CNO.
