This job description outlines the general duties and responsibilities of a role with the primary task of supporting the day-to-day activities and services of the agency or department through programmatic and administrative work.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates current procedures to enhance operational efficiency and suggests improvements for program activities and services.
  • Advises on administrative strategies or updates in internal procedures to incorporate new requirements and address management challenges.
  • Aids in creating procedures and guidelines to align with departmental goals, finding ways to enhance efficiency, and standardizing administrative processes.
  • Assists in meeting schedules, deadlines, priorities, and production goals more effectively.
  • Participates in coordinating special assignments to address general management issues and other project-related tasks.
  • Handles minor complaints and issues as directed by the supervisor, conducts research, investigations, and provides recommendations based on findings.
  • Manages incoming correspondence, conducts necessary research, and prepares responses, coordinating with relevant staff for required information.
  • Gathers and processes program-related information and data.

The work is performed in an office environment with a sedentary nature.

Tour of Duty:

Monday - Friday; 8:15 am - 4:45 pm
