    Description

    Job Title: Economic Evaluation and Planning Specialist at Comcast

    Job Summary:

    Responsible for performing complex economic evaluation and planning tasks to support corporate planning and ensure quality control of capital expenditures justification.


    Job Description:


    • Assist in developing strategic plans for new, existing, or proposed business operations.
    • Provide analysis and evaluation of cost/expense challenges and opportunities for profit enhancement within current business activities.
    • Recommend changes in analysis and budgetary methods, analyzing the impact of various corporate projects.
    • Analyze and communicate weekly metrics, monthly results, and annual projections.
    • Perform and assess economic evaluation justifications for capital expenditures.
    • Review all franchise agreements to determine financial obligations and define cost recovery amounts.
    • Maintain senior discount offers, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with different departments for senior discount management.
    • Key participant in annual rate events and responsible for notifying subscribers of changes resulting from franchise renewals.
    • Drive processes to enhance senior discounts and collaborate with IT for efficiency improvements.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop strategic plans for business operations.
    • Analyze cost/expense problems and profit improvement opportunities.

    • Analyze and communicate financial metrics regularly.
    • Conduct economic evaluations for capital expenditures justifications.
    • Ensure accuracy and management of senior discount offers.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
