Position Requirements:

• Must show excellent verbal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift heavy boxes, wheelchairs, mattresses, etc.
• On call availability (in emergency situations)
• Ability to learn and carry out new tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to solve problems and make decisions

Duties Include:

• 13 years' experience in operation of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems

*Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, etc

*Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, maintenance practices and procedures-Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc

*Ability to plan and carry out programs in repair, new construction, and equipment installation

*Ability to understand, control and track direct spending and labor budgets-Experience in healthcare facility

*Supervisory experience preferred

*Other tasks related to staying in compliance with Regulations and Health & Safety Codes.

*Handyman tools preferred

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
