Jr-Mid QA Analyst

Hybrid onsite 2 days per week.
Must be local
Convert to $90-$100k
Interview process:
Phone Interview with HR, onsite meeting with a testing scenario where they'll run through how they would test it, final round with team.
Needs manual testing, smoke/regression testing, and sitecore.
QA Analyst
Working within the Project Management Office department, the
QA Analyst will be responsible for all quality assurance aspects of the organization's web platforms, including planning, writing, and executing manual testing.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed, comprehensive and wellstructured test plans, test cases/suites, test scripts and traceability matrix
- Report, document and reproduce bugs/defects found during the QA process as well as production issues reported by business stakeholder and customers
- Identify user experience issues as part of the quality assurance process
- Participate in software development process by including feedback on requirements specifications and technical design and providing estimates for quality assurance testing tasks
- Advise technology management on "go/nogo" decisions for releases based on associated risks
- Lead User Acceptance Testing efforts as necessary for large projects
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Bachelor's degree with a technology focus or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the agile software development lifecycle, SCRUM delivery methodologies and QA best practices
- Knowledge of the Education, CME and/or healthcare industry a plus
- Experience with automated and/or nonfunctional testing (security, performance, etc.) a plus, but not required.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communications skills (both verbal and writing) as well as listening and influencing skills
- Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize while working on multiple parallel or competing projects
- Excellent relationship and team building skills
- Proficiency in MS product suite
- Familiarity with software development/quality assurance tools (Jira, etc.) a plus
- Knowledge of Sitecore or a content management system a plus

$ $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Compensation package:
- 1099 contract
