Description

Omni is seeking a Warehouse Assistant.

Omni Technologies, LLC is a leading provider of low voltage services in southern Wisconsin, specializing in the design and implementation of fire alarm, security, nurse call and audio-video systems.

Responsibilities:

Making deliveries to the job sites, run parts to techs, etc. Delivery vehicle provided.
Counting inventory (stock parts, attention to detail is a BIG necessity here) making the proper systematic adjustments to go along with the physical transaction.
Validating parts on job locations or shipping lists gathering parts for outbound, counting parts prior to delivery, etc.
Adjusting warehouse layout when needed (project outgrew location, shipment took most the parts, etc).
Cleaning up of the warehouse (cardboard, trash, general tidyness).
Recycling old wire/batteries/speakers that have come from past jobs.

Skills:

Ability to stay on your feet while working this is a great job for someone looking to stay active
Ability to be dependable, flexible, and reliable.
Ability to work in the heat and the cold as temperatures vary in the warehouse by season.
Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.

What You'll Need as a Delivery Driver

Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Maintain a safe driving record, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with weather/road conditions.

Successful completion of a driving record background check required.
