Responsibilities:
Business Operations
- Analyze complex business issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision makers.
- Construct forecasts, recommend plans based on the business data.
- Develop reports for management on the overall performance of business and develop metrics to measure various characteristics of the business.
- Responsible for overseeing product and/or service operations at a global or regional level.
- Effectively communicate crossfunctionally and across all levels to improve operational systems, internal processes, policies, methods, and tools in support of streamlining business functionality.
Reporting and Analytics
- Analyze large quantities of data and present insights and predictions to support management planning, executing, and monitoring of business decisions.
- Manage operational projects including the collection and dissemination of information and communicate results to leadership.
- Generate adhoc reports or report information for endusers.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.
- Program and maintain report forms and formats, dashboards, canned reports and other enduser information portals and sources.
Process Improvement
- May lead the effort to develop and improve operations through efficient and effective integrated processes, implementing common management processes/services to leverage organization resources.
- Solicit feedback from management and their leaders on existing processes or gaps in process.
- May act as central hub for the organization executing common standards, templates, processes and expectations.
- Work closely with management and support organization to drive a uniform approach in the development and communication of processes and procedures.
- Implement process improvement initiatives.
- Development of metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
- Provides suggestions for standard Business Intelligence (BI) tools to increase usage/adoption with Support Sales teams to reduce adhoc, manual efforts.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Strong interpersonal skills including communication, presentation, facilitation, collaboration and relationshipbuilding.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to deliver high quality work under pressure.
- Proven ability to manage projects, and to influence and lead in a matrix organization.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a complex, multiproject environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Design, or related field.
- Business Development and/or Technical Product/Program Management experience in Federal Government (DOD or IC), Technology or Regulated Industry.
- Knowledge of or experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) (Salesforce), marketing automation technology (e.g. Eloqua, Pardot, Marketo, etc), and/or business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI).
