Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damage.
• Use and knowledge of Bondo, spackle, and caulking
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect them from paint
• Clean up work areas and remove hazardous materials after completing the job
• Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Experience:

• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities
• Knowledge of power tools used in painting, such as sanders, sprayers, and drivers
• Construction estimating skills to accurately assess project requirements
• Ability to weld or perform basic masonry work is a plus
• Basic Carpentry skill is a plus.
• Proficiency in caulking and sealing surfaces before painting
• Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques
• Ability to maintain painting equipment and troubleshoot issues
• Maintenance Person skills for minor repairs and surface preparation
