Training as a tool mechanic - Abingdon, United States - Titan Ventures
Description
As a tool mechanic (m/f/d), you will manufacture special tools (e.g. injection molds) for industrial mass production in Abingdon. The production of these tools takes place on highly precise computer-controlled machines such as milling, turning, grinding, and erosion machines, which work with accuracy down to fractions of millimeters.
What is important?
Precision is crucial, as the tools and molds are manufactured with high precision requirements and must function properly in industrial production.
Manual dexterity and knowledge in the field of crafts and technology are essential for both the production of individual parts and the assembly of machine tools. Mathematics, for example, is important for calculating machine setting values, and physics is necessary for evaluating material properties.
