- Forecasts goals and objectives for sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
- Hires, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all used-vehicle sales employees.
- Prepares and administers an annual operating forecast and budget for the used vehicle sales department.
- Understands keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect used vehicle sales.
- Assists individual salespeople in setting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
- Ensures proper follow-up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system
- Maintains vehicle inventory. Monitors customer's likes and dislikes lost sales, and dealership sales history and conducts local market analyses to determine which vehicles to stock.
- Conducts daily and weekly sales and sales training meetings.
- Establishes and enforces product-knowledge standards.
- Oversees the efforts of used vehicle salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership.
- Helps salespeople close deals.
- Communicates daily with the new vehicle sales manager regarding units needed for used-vehicle inventory.
- Ensures that used-vehicle salespeople are informed of all new inventory and current advertising efforts, including special sales.
- Plans and controls the display of used vehicles.
- Establishes delivery procedures and ensures that delivery includes an introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service appointment.
- Assists in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions
- Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership guidelines.
- Attends manager's meetings.
- Maintains a professional appearance.

- Manage and optimize the dealership's website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and up-to-date with inventory and promotions.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Internet Director to join our team. As an Internet Director , you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online presence, as well as overseeing the sales people and sales process for internet leads. This is a key role in our dealership, requiring excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of software and digital marketing strategies.
Internet Director Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound sales calls to follow up with potential customers
- Utilize various software platforms to track and manage leads
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective online advertising campaigns
- Train Internet agents on process and results
- Coach team to achieve new levels of success
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience
Skills:
- Proficient in software applications related to internet sales and lead management
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, allowing you to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and processes
- Experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or retail sales is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate representation of inventory online
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive industry is required
- Strong sales skills and ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Proficient in using software tools for sales management and customer relationship management
- Strong math skills for calculating pricing, discounts, and commissions
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
