Description
Our client, a rapidly growing full-service CPA firm with offices across various locations, is currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager for their Monmouth County, NJ office.
Job Responsibilities
As an Audit Manager, you will:
Collaborate with the Audit Partner, Director, and Senior Managers to coordinate and manage multiple audit engagements, ensuring deadlines are met.
These audits may involve publicly traded companies, broker dealers, not-for-profits, and manufacturers.Oversee and actively participate in all stages of audit engagements, including independently leading audits, supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff, and performing junior-level tasks when necessary.
Manage engagement budgets, billing, and client realization.Review and prepare complete sets of financial statements, related disclosures, and work papers to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and maintain quality control.
Cultivate strong client relationships, understanding their business thoroughly, and proactively addressing client issues with effective solutions.Develop new client contacts and relationships, recognizing opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
5+ years of public accounting audit experience, including work on audits of publicly traded entities and broker dealers (preferred).
A current CPA license.
Strong self-motivation and the ability to lead and manage multiple engagements.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
Effective leadership and mentoring skills.
Advanced knowledge of CCH ProSystem Engagement and PPC's Smart Tools.
Willingness to travel and flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
