    Description

    The purpose of the Steward-Food Runner position is to support the dining room operations through polishing glassware and silverware, preparing rolled silverware, running food during service, and other tasks as assigned. This is a guest-facing role in a dining room front of house uniform.

    Must have weekend and holiday availability

    Shift can start as early as 6:30 and go as late as 4:30

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Polishes glassware and silverware
  • Facilitates hard polishing of silverware using a burnisher machine
  • Composed rolled silverware for lunch service
  • Supports openings and closings as needed in the restaurant including but not limited to restaurant set up
  • Performs routine deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by management
  • Food runner as needed during service (the position is flex).

    • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.

    Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position.

    Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.

    EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Must be able to communicate with other Team Members and Managers/Supervisors effectively

    • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of math

    • REASONING ABILITY

  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals

    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to be on feet for an extended period
  • Must be able to operate a company vehicle or golf cart safely
