    Interventional Business Unit: The Interventional business unit at Teleflex specializes in developing advanced medical devices used for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary and peripheral vascular conditions.

    We prioritize intricate coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialized biologic therapies, and cardiac support.

    Our range of Interventional products encompasses various innovative solutions, including the GuideLiner and Turnpike Catheters, AC3 OptimusTM Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, and OnControl Powered Bone Access System.

    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer III
    Company: Teleflex Incorporated

    Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer III plays a vital role in utilizing engineering expertise to support Manufacturing and Quality Compliance initiatives across the organization.

    As part of cross-functional teams, the engineer will contribute to sustaining and implementing continuous improvements for Teleflex's catheter product lines, which include various specialized catheters.

    Key responsibilities include providing daily engineering support for catheter manufacturing operations, conducting investigations on non-conforming products, leading continuous improvement projects, and ensuring adherence to quality standards through lean problem-solving practices.

    The role also involves accountability for documentation practices, design control processes, and compliance with relevant regulations.

    Principal Responsibilities:
    • Meet and maintain production-specific metrics such as yield and efficiency
    • Lead investigations related to Non-Conformances, Complaints, and CAPA
    • Drive engineering actions identified through production visual management boards
    • Plan and execute projects to reduce waste, enhance productivity, and improve operational efficiency
    • Create and update manufacturing and engineering documentation
    • Conduct process qualification and validation activities
    • Support R&D initiatives and facilitate the transfer of new technologies to manufacturing
    • Provide project management and technical leadership
    • Collaborate with production management to implement technical changes for optimal production capacity
    • Mentor and supervise Manufacturing Technicians
    • Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational requirements
    Education / Experience Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in supporting manufacturing, with a focus on medical devices
    • Knowledge of FDA QSR process and validation documentation a plus
    Specialized Skills / Other Requirements:
    • Proficiency in IQ/OQ/PQ and P/DFMEA
    • Demonstrated project management experience
    • Experience in developing production test fixtures desirable
    • Familiarity with common PC applications and software
    • Knowledge of Agile, SAP, six-sigma, and Lean manufacturing beneficial
    • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and provide guidance to team members
    • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
    • Understanding of pneumatics and injection molding advantageous
