Job Summary
Oversee, coordinate and manage warehouse inventory and shipments.

Receive, store and distribute shipment and products within established guidelines while performing the following duties:


Position:
Warehouse Associate/Worker

Duties:

• Receive goods at the dock and check the Bills of Lading
• Inspect all received goods for damage and place into inventory
• Coordinate with staff any items to be transported to the vendors
• Coordinate with staff the final inspection and release to a shipping company, or Will Call, of completed orders
• Ensure proper tags are attached to all items
• Pulling bolts for shipping cut to fill orders
• Packing of shipments
• Able to read and identify Cargo labels correctly
• Keep area racks organized and sorted properly
• Assist in daily requests from the operations department for shipment accuracy.
• Able to drive forklift (if applicable) and can lift heavy items
• You must shrink wrap pallets tightly and broken boxes need to be retaped or reboxed.
• Help in cutting broken pallets to be discarded in the recycle bins.
• Assist in the organization of inventory to ensure best use of warehouse space
• Provide assistance to all warehouse needs, as follows but not limited to deliveries and organize shipments for proper distribution.
• Assist in upkeeping the warehouse area including cleanup of minor debris or trash, sweeping the floor, empty small trash containers and making sure that area is kept clean for safety purposes.

Experience:

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
