What to expect

As an intern, you will work on a variety of issues in the areas of accounting and valuation and support in annual and consolidated financial statement audits according to HGB and IFRS for companies in the financial services industry, especially banks and credit institutions.

You also have the opportunity to participate in special audits (e.g. WpHG, custody audits, special audits on behalf of BaFin), take on internal audit tasks, and contribute to audit-related consulting projects.

Depending on your expectations, we will discuss together which team you can best contribute your interests and strengths to and develop yourself optimally.

You will be actively involved as a full-fledged team member from the beginning, gaining valuable insights into the daily work of an auditing and consulting firm and making valuable contacts for your professional network.

You will also be responsible for preparing and creating supporting documents and presentations.
What you bring
At least in your second semester of studying economics, preferably with a focus on auditing, taxes, accounting and/or finance
Ideally, you have already gained some experience through relevant internships or a previous banking apprenticeship
Strong analytical thinking skills and willingness to familiarize yourself with complex topics and projects
Excellent communication skills in German and English
You are available for at least 3 months for the internship
