- Creates and manages integrations with other business systems such as CRMs, marketing automations, electronic data interchange (EDI) or accounting, leveraging advanced tools like APIs, middleware, and other integrations
- Configures NetSuite modules, workflows, scripts, and integrations to enhance system performance and usability.
- Participates in 3rd party integrations including, but not limited to Rippling, Paymentus, and Salesforce.
- Creates custom scripts and NetSuite functionalities via SuiteScript to modify the ERP system to address individual organizational needs, such as custom forms, fields, records, and workflows
- Builds new applications from scratch or modifies existing functionality to align with specific business requirements.
- Improves financial modules within NetSuite, especially interfaces with NetSuite Financials that support financial reporting, compliance, and operating account standards, as well as optimize systems such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, and budgeting
- Drives the data migration process from the old ERP system for continuity
- Works with finance and technology stakeholders to elicit system requirements, then turn those requirements into functioning ERP solutions
- Conducts meetings and document requirements then propose system designs or viable alternatives to existing processes
- Evaluates thoroughly developed solutions through unit tests, system integration testing and user acceptance testing both before deployment and after deployment
- Develops strategies and processes that help us stay up to date with Health Check items and other System updates.
- Provides long-term support and address issues as they arise once solutions are implemented.
- Trains users and help them learn how to make use of the new or improved features within both NetSuite and Salesforce
- Maintains system process documentation and training materials for all applicable systems.
- Works with Project Development Office to facilitate system implementation projects supporting the development and integration of financial systems across NetSuite and Salesforce including goal setting, team requirements, project timelines, and deliverables to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Assesses business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- Makes sure NetSuite and Salesforce implementations comply with applicable accounting and compliance regulations, design reports and dashboards
- Creates and edit dashboards, searches, invoice templates, dunning letter process, reports, workflows, KPIs, etc.
- Gains a strong understanding of Served with Honor's business processes and accounting practices.
- Ongoing pursuit of NetSuite system updates and best practices knowledge.

- Comprehensive understanding of NetSuite ERP, including its fiscal management capabilities
- Familiarity with financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Knowledge of integration tools and middleware such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar technologies
- Awareness of project management principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in SuiteScript for custom scripting and automation within NetSuite
- Strong skills in API usage and management for system integrations

- Workflow, reporting, and dashboard customization to support specific financial operational requirements
- Competence in managing a full lifecycle of software development and integration projects
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite modules, including financials, inventory management, commissions, and order management
- Robust knowledge of systems that integrate with NetSuite
- Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and balance competing priorities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of firsthand experience with NetSuite development. Familiar with fundamental concepts like custom scripting, integrations, and financial module customization
- Minimum of 3 years of NetSuite Admin experience
- NetSuite Development Certification
- History of success in implementation and management of ERP solutions, especially in NetSuite
- Proficiency in NetSuite's SuiteScript, SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, or other middleware connecting NetSuite with other systems like Salesforce
- Strong understanding of web services, APIs, and other integration technologies
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and SQL

Description
The NetSuite Developer will have Software Integration and Finance experience that plays an instrumental role in further developing and optimizing the NetSuite ERP system through advanced integrations and custom accounting functionality. The NetSuite Developer leverages their technical skills and deep knowledge of finance to develop, customize and maintain solutions that solve finance reporting, compliance, and operations related problems. This position will work closely with the Finance Projects Manager and the Tech team to optimally integrate NetSuite into the order to cash process across all subsidiaries and 3rd party clients with an emphasis on Salesforce and the overall orchestration. This is a hybrid position that can report to either finance or technology but has NetSuite support and development as their #1 priority. Reports to VP of Technology.
