We're on the lookout for a highly skilled
Repair Technician for our Class 8 Heavy-Duty trucks. In this role, you'll be assembling and improving both the Alpha and Beta vehicles for the incredible Nikola Tre.

You'll use your skills in automotive electrical, brakes, suspension, cooling and electrical systems to meet all project needs and get the vehicles ready for prime time.

Responsibilities:

Install components on Class 8 Heavy-Duty trucks
Assist in the design and make specialized parts as needed for all types of vehicles
Perform quality inspections of vehicles
Communicate directly with the Shop Manager, Manufacturing, and Engineering team
Execute repairs to proper specifications
Maintain a clean working environment
Travel abroad for specialized training
Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

Minimum (3) three years' experience in R&D, manufacturing, or related field
Previous expertise in class8 altfuel environment is a plus
High degree of mechanical aptitude with a focus on efficiency
Experience as welder MIG/TIG is a plus
Diagnostic skills
Certification in hybrid and electric vehicles
ASE certification
Effective oral & written communication
Ability to follow directions while being a selfstarter
Ability to use a computer, hand, electric and pneumatic tools
A customerfirst attitude
Physical stamina to (including but not limited to) stand, kneel, bend, push, pull, reach, grip, lift, etc
Comprehension of and adherence to safety & policy practices
