    About the Job:
    As part of our commitment to safety and sustainability, we are looking for an IT Application Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting software, chargers, and vehicles related to our electric school bus fleet.

    The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a dedication to maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our IT systems supporting electric school bus operations.


    Key Responsibilities:
    • Software Support: Provide technical support for all Charge Management Systems (CMS) and related software used in EV Charging for school bus operations. Troubleshoot software issues, document problems, and collaborate with vendors for resolutions.
    • Charger Support: Monitor and maintain electric vehicle chargers, conduct inspections, and troubleshoot issues.
    • Vehicle Support: Work with the maintenance team to integrate IT systems with electric buses, monitor vehicle data, and resolve IT-related issues.
    • Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors on technical support, SLAs, software updates, disaster response planning, and maintenance.
    • User Training and Documentation: Provide training on IT systems, create user guides, and FAQs for staff.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data, generate reports on system performance and cost savings related to electric school bus operations.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Prior IT support experience, preferably in transportation or logistics.
    • Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with electric vehicle charging systems and bus technology.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
    • Willingness to adapt to new technologies.
