    Description


    At GFiber, we leverage emerging technologies to continue advancing, and being able to collect and analyze the data to gain competitive advantage for our very competitive business environment.

    We need skilled data scientists that are interested in learning and growing.

    We are looking for a highly motivated, engineering background, some networking knowledge is preferred with good hands on experience with SQL, Python, sklearn, pandas, numpy and other related data analysis libraries.

    GFiber Data Scientist Job description
    Working knowledge of data analysis principles, cleaning data, imputation, normalization, preparing data for analysis, outlier detection. Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.

    Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques:
    hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.

    Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques:
    GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, etc. Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions. Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes. Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities. At least 2 years of experience in monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data.

    Strong programming skills with one or more:

    Python,SQL Experience with Python Statistical and Data Libraries - sklearn, scikit, pandas, numpy Experience with data visualization tools: plotly, matplotlib, seaborn, ggplot, , dashboard design and construction.
