Description

The Mobility Program Coordinator will provide information and resources to the Mobility Counseling families to prepare them for a move to a range of neighborhoods.

The Mobility Counselor will provide motivational counseling to program participants and ensure that all participant information is entered into Elite.

In addition, this position will also include general admin support tasks, including, but not limited to data entry, office organization, filing, copying, printing, mailing, and other duties as required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assists with recruiting families and owners to participate in the Mobility Counseling program.
  • Processes moves, annual recertification, interims, ports and update database accordingly.
  • Brief interested families and potential owners on the requirements and goals of the Mobility Counseling program.
  • Enter intake survey data into SharePoint and schedule intake assessments.
  • Provides precounseling, and apartment search assistance to assist families to move into opportunity areas.
  • Prepares files for review and scanning.
  • Assists tenants in developing a Personalized Action Plan (PAP) and making referrals based on identified needs.
  • Monitors tenant's PAP for goal completion and updates Elite.
  • Effectively communicates with Mobility Counseling Program Director and Manager regarding any participantrelated concerns.
  • Regularly update the recordkeeping system regarding family attributes.
  • Participate in regular meetings to provide updates on progress, challenges, and successes.
  • Safeguards confidential and sensitive information as required by program rules.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, sociology, social services, human services, education, or a closely related field with a similar course curriculum; OR
  • High School Diploma and four years of fulltime paid experience, working in human services in a capacity involving the delivery of direct services to the clientele.

Pay:
$55,000.00 per year
