JOB PURPOSE


The role of a Team Lead is to ensure top-quality hospitality is delivered to our guests as well as to support the team.

In addition, all staff is expected to create and maintain an inviting atmosphere for our guests. This atmosphere is created through positivity, support, shared knowledge, and effective communication.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No direct reports. However, this role will assist in supervising the Front of House management team


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Ensure proper daily operations of the bar including but not limited to product control, guest engagement, health, and hygiene, quality control, etc.
  • Establish excellent rapport with Puttery's guests and promote prompt, courteous, efficient guest services
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Assist in daily staff formation, as well as training, and ongoing development
  • See that work is carried out in a way that minimizes risks to the health and safety of both employees and guests, as well as ensures compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Facilitate communication between guests, bar staff, supervisors, and managers
  • Be responsive to all guest requests and concerns
  • Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
  • Additional projects may be assigned to this position to assist the company leadership on major initiatives, as deemed necessary

Additional Information:

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and have a good level of stamina and mobility
  • Work schedule varies and will include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in hightemperature environments for extended periods of time
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred
  • Outstanding communication skills, and experience working with the staff at all levels.
  • Familiarity with safety & sanitation, along with industry best practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for hours at a time, including maneuvering up and downstairs.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds atatime without assistance.
