    Responsibilities

    Summary

    As the Talent Acquisition Specialist for Gaylor Electric, you play a crucial role in maintaining our culture of excellence. Your mission is to attract top talent to our organization by marketing and advertising various exempt, field, and craft positions. Your responsibility is to ensure a smooth candidate experience, uphold our core values, and establish strong relationships both internally and externally.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with Talent Acquisition Partner to devise effective recruiting strategies
    • Create exceptional candidate experiences
    • Source, screen, interview, and present top talent for different positions
    • Prepare and process offers through the Applicant Tracking System
    • Participate in workforce planning meetings
    • Develop partnerships with local entities
    • Ensure high-quality employee experience through check-ins and onboarding
    • Travel within local markets as required
    • Additional duties as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or Construction Management OR 5+ Years Leadership Experience in construction trades
    • 5+ years of construction recruiting experience
    • Bilingual English/Spanish Speaking capability
    • Valid Drivers License
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong relationship building and networking abilities
