West Central Behavioral Health, the non-profit community behavioral health center serving lower Grafton County and Sullivan County, New Hampshire, is embarking on a four-year, transformational effort to become a federally-recognized Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic.

This will enable West Central to continue to provide high quality, person
- and family-centered mental and substance use disorder services to underserved individuals of all ages, including our veterans, regardless of their ability to pay.


We are seeking a full-time Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at our Lebanon, NH and Newport, NH sites ensuring that support to the clinical services allow for smooth clinical operations.


Responsibilities (partial list):


  • Hires, trains, orients, evaluates, assigns, and counsels office support staff at assigned site(s).
  • Manages schedules of assigned clinical staff.
  • Coordinates workflow to optimize support staff efficiencies and ensures appropriate coverage.
  • Monitors and assists in the collection of active client delinquent accounts. Collaborates with billing on the development of procedures to involve the participation and cooperation of the clinicians to contain bad debt balances.


Conducts internal audits in the electronic health record to ensure documentation meets both the agency prevailing standards and He-M 400 and He-M 426 rules with respect to management of medical records, content and billing requirements.


Evaluates and produces metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness in order to drive process improvements aligned with desired staff outcomes.


Essential Job Requirements:

  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Supervisor and leadership skills required
  • Minimum of 3 year's of experience in the healthcare environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn necessary computer and technical skills essential to the position and agency.
