The WDN GmbH company is an internationally active wholesale company for the textile processing industry based in Hamburg. The main focus of the company is the distribution and service of textile processing machines and production systems, with a particular emphasis on thermoplastic welding and bonding processes, industrial sewing technology, and CNC cutting tables with various cutting techniques (laser, ultrasound, water jet, blade). The in-house service department, including field service, ensures after-sales support and also carries out general repairs and maintenance on machines. Our customers primarily process technical textiles and come from the automotive, aviation, defense, maritime equipment, safety and protective equipment, fire protection, sun protection, filter construction, as well as tarpaulin and textile architecture industries.

We are currently seeking a Service Technician / Mechatronics Engineer / Mechanic (m/f/d) to join our service team in Hamburg.

We are also open to candidates with a related technical education, such as automotive mechatronics, precision mechanics, or event technicians.

In this role, you will work actively with a small team and, after a training period, independently carry out repairs and installations of processing machines (cutting, textile welding, sewing) for technical textiles. You will be supported by colleagues from the service team and the workshop manager. We are also open to candidates with a different background who are interested in transitioning to this field.
