POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinates all departmental functions to ensure production requirements are met with safety, quality, and efficiency. Coordinates activities with materials, purchasing, maintenance, tooling, engineering, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production.

Responsibilities:

· Monitors production plans and provides corrective action as necessary

· Communicates staffing needs with supervision

· Completes daily production reports

· Monitors, adjusts, and reports inventories

· Educates associates in proper procedures of company policy, safety and quality issues, and production requirements

· Monitors machinery and equipment. Writes work orders when necessary

· Implement new systems and operations

· Conducts weekly department meetings with associates on current issues such as quality, attendance, safety, housekeeping, and production requirements.

· Able and willing to work any shift assigned, including overtime and weekends
