Job Description and Responsibilities
Come join our CureStatRx Family team CureStatRx is a closed-door compounding, home infusion, and specialty pharmacy.

We employ a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and a specially trained infusion nurse, all who coordinate care for patients in our on-site infusion suite and in their homes.

We are committed to providing services that go above and beyond customer expectations and better the quality of life for our patients.


As the intake coordinator, you will be responsible for working in conjunction with insurance companies, hospital case management, continuing care personnel, and targeted physician practices to plan, coordinate, and facilitate referrals for infusion suite therapy and specialty home medications.

You will organize and coordinate daily intake/referral processes for our specialty pharmacy to ensure that the initiation of care is timely and according to physician orders and within regulatory guidelines.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in typing and computer data entry via Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and other software programs
  • Knowledge of overall home health management including admission criteria, nursing process, medical billing, and referral process
  • Basic knowledge of Medicare/Medi-Cal, Workers Comp, Managed Care (HMO, PPO, POS, etc), Children's Health Programs (CCS, GHPP, Healthy Families, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Ability to to speak, read, write, and understand English effectively at a level appropriate for the safe and effective performance of the job
  • Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Experience with handling difficult situations with therapeutic communication
  • Must be friendly, professional, and cooperative with a good aptitude for customer service and problem solving
  • Must be able to occasionally life and/or move up to 30 pounds
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and supervisory skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and current standards of clinical practice, professional counseling, mentorship, and resource allocation
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Knowledge in the use of ICD10, CPT4, and HCPC coding systems

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
