- Investigate and address daily inquiries from independent operators regarding billing, adjustment requests, and general inquiries in a prompt manner.
- Compile accounts receivable billing support, set up loans, and manage loan and interest adjustments.
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes by completing reconciliations, preparing journal entries, resolving issues, and meeting deadlines.
- Conduct variance analysis for assigned areas to provide comprehensive explanations for variances.
- Assist Accounting management by providing analysis to determine financial liabilities and preparing necessary accruals.
- Create and maintain schedules and supporting documentation for management, internal and external reporting, auditors, and SOX compliance during quarter reviews and year-end audits.
- Familiarize oneself with departmental daily operations and assist in executing the period-end close process to ensure timely achievement of daily and period goals.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis and propose or suggest accounting methods and procedures as needed, aligning with US GAAP and company policy.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is a prerequisite.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally with a combination of Big 4 Public Accounting and industry exposure.
- Thorough understanding of current US GAAP regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and hands-on experience with an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP.
- Demonstrated aptitude in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Professional attributes and work ethic including effective communication (both oral and written), attention to detail, organizational skills, collaborative spirit, innovative thinking, self-motivation, decisiveness, accountability, and a commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, ensuring timely task completion.
