Purpose of Role
The Marketing Specialist position is responsible for creating, managing and nurturing demand, and driving growth across the Americas region. This role reports to Marketing Manager and is key to the Tait Americas marketing growth strategy.


Scope of the Role


The Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the Tait Americas (TAM) direct sales initiatives through demand-generation marketing campaigns, trade shows, lead nurturing in target markets, proposal support and more.


In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for the development and execution of direct account based marketing campaigns, general branding market awareness campaigns and requires a creative and tactical mindset to reach key objectives and results.


The Marketing Specialist will also lead, plan, coordinate and execute with the TAM sales and technical teams on national and regional industry trade shows and events in the Americas region.


In addition, the Marketing Specialist will participate and coordinate with the Marketing Manager and cross-department teams in the validation of and alignment with Tait brand standards in TAM RFP development process.


Functional Outcomes

The Marketing Specialist role entails:

  • Expand upon and continue marketing communications for previously established marketing campaigns.
  • Nurture and further develop a growing community of industry consultants through a steady cadence of marketing communications.
  • Lead national and regional industry and trade show efforts including tradeshow logistics, booth orders, sponsorships, liaising with the Company's booth vendor and coordinating with crossfunctional teams and the Marketing Manager to plan and execute the event plan.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to refine RFP proposals, ensuring deliverables are on brand, consistently formatted, adhere to predetermined templates and have a powerful visual impact.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other Tait Americas marketing team members to ensure department synergy.
  • Support the marketing automation and lead generation programs for the Americas region including analytics and reporting.
  • Identify and advocate for marketing needs within the Tait organisation.
  • Selfdriven, owns responsibilities and is collaborative with crossdepartmental teams.
  • Communicate and collaborate with personnel form various departments.

Marketing Communications

A comprehensive background in marketing communications. Must provide project examples that demonstrate a thorough understanding of communications concepts.

International Experience


Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of proven success in marketing, preferably B2B marketing.
  • Experience in Land Mobile Radio or technology business experience is preferable.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business (or the equivalent thereof).
  • Strong skills in communication, presentation and business acumen.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of processes for developing new markets, managing a large territory, including demand generation, channel partner development, forecasting, quota attainment.
  • Must be an aggressive selfstarter with ability to articulate Tait product and business strategies, and create the demand to grow the Tait brand.
  • Skilled in the use of CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Up to 35% travel.
