Assembler

Reports To:
Value Stream Manager


Primary duties will include:

  • Read and interpret sales and work orders to determine appropriate product with correct trim and hardware
  • Maintain the highest quality standards
  • Report production daily
  • Report scrap daily
  • Report all outages to supervisor
  • Clean up during shift as needed to be safe and at end of shift
  • Set the highest ethical standards for self and others
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Knowledge of common hand tools
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Knowledge of materials, production processes, and quality control
  • Ability to read sales and work orders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently
  • Must wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
  • Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as required

Preferred education:

  • High School diploma is preferred, GED required.
  • We will consider additional experience in lieu of diploma.
The essential physical & environmental requirements of the position are:

  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment, heat and cold.
  • Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to stand prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.
  • Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and have color vision.
