WHAT WE'RE DOING**
THE WORK


As an SM you will be responsible for all aspects of a subcontracts life-cycle maintaining positive performance in the Cost, Schedule, Quality, and Technical domains.

Included within the responsibility is the overall management of several large contracts conducting work overseas, as well as responsibility over all aspects of development including scope across the Solid State Radar Common Product Team.


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Establish action plans/schedule to ensure supplier successful delivery of contracted materials and services
  • Contract deliverables; material and services on time meeting the program needs
  • Establish negotiations strategies for new subcontracts and additional scope within established subcontracts
  • Coordinate subcontractors/supplier Program Reviews
  • Reporting performance and program status to SPM, PMO and Leadership
  • Ensuring material and labor budgets are maintained
  • Attend and participate in Program Assessment activities such as BR's, PAR's, IPR's, etc., as required
  • Ensure problems are addressed and resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensure Lockheed Martin is well positioned with an affordable materials / services solution to win new business / proposals; specific tasks are as follows:
  • Identification of potential sources of supply
  • Development of source selection strategy, criteria and planning, including participation in Make / Buy assessments
  • Develops request for proposal documents, ensuring program flowdowns are maintained
  • Evaluates proposals for content and quality, challenges subcontractors appropriately
  • Executes source selection plans, communicates and justifies results to SPM, PMO, and Leadership
  • Ensures subcontractors milestone payment plans are aligned with Program expectations and plans
  • Participates in Proposal assessments and artifacts; INAR, EPP, Price Analysis, Exhibit
  • This assignment will require the need to travel to subcontractors or other LM Sites on an asneeded basis

WHO WE ARE

The team provides support to Solid State Radar Common Product line subcontracts including: LRDR, HDR-H, ASEV, F-110, CSC, HDR-G and future programs.

The team helps develop supply chain strategy for related subcontracts during captures as well as all supply chain commitments (cost, schedule, quality & technical) during execution for activities supporting the IWSS Line of Business.

You are passionate about results and able to interface with multiple team members while facilitating weekly schedule updates, and delegate changes as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with minimum of five years of supply chain experience, or equivalent education/experience combination.

Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Knowledge of FAR/DFARs and DoD procurement policies and practices.

Program Management skills.

Excellent negotiation and business acumen.

Experience leading multi-functional teams in dynamic environment.


Desired Skills:

Active Security Clearance.

Experienced in Proposal and Capture activities.

Transition to Production Experience.

Risk Management Experience.

Strong Project management experience with ability to execute complex activities.

Previous LM supply chain experience.


Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.


Clearance Level:
Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Part-time

Remote Telework:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.


Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
