- Deliver new solutions to solve business problems from inception to deployment, with monitoring of performance.
- Provide support and develop visualizations and data pipelines for projects including querying, analysis, transformation, visualization, and deployment.
- Works with AWS, Content Management Systems, Product Data, Recommendation engines, Cloud Databases, ERPs and Centralized Customer Data Management Systems.
- Be involved with many aspects of technical development, user experience design, architecture, and automation to recommend and deliver sound business intelligence solutions.
- Build systems that integrate into our sales and marketing interfaces and align with other corporate data lakes.
- Data modeling, design and database programming using a variety of relational database systems (Postgres, Oracle).
- AWS S3, Redshift, Postgres, Step Functions, CloudFormation, EventBridge, Spectrum, and more
- Strong knowledge of best practice dealing with structured or unstructured datasets.
- Strong ability to effectively document processes, and communicate them to others.
- Strong experience with of ETL processes and database automations.
- Experience using Agile software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of customer data management and user authentication/authorization on websites and mobile devices is a plus.
- Ability to think critically, and creatively solve problems that are in line with business objectives and strategic vision.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with leadership, data scientists, financial analysts, and data engineers to translate business questions into flexible tools and dashboards that scale across the organization.
- 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree or equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, data science, data analytics or related field; graduate degree preferred.
- 3-5+ years of database engineering and data architecture.
- 3-5+ years of hands on ETL/data engineering experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience writing in SQL.
