Southern Lakes Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative to join our team
The Member Service Representative opens member accounts, cross-sells Credit Union products, answers member questions, and provides overall quality service to members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities_ _include the following. Others may be assigned._
- Open accounts for members. Enter membership information into terminal to setup new accounts and/or share draft applicants.
- Provide information regarding Credit Union products, services or policies.
- Reconcile checking accounts.
- Open share certificates of deposit and IRA accounts.
- Order member checks.
- Respond to member inquiries, researching problems and providing information or resolution.
- Greet members into the Credit Union and assist them or direct them to the appropriate area if needed.
- Perform file maintenance on member accounts.
- Perform Teller duties when needed

Experience:_
A minimum of one year of customer service experience.
Teller or related Credit Union experience desired.

Skills:_
- Intermediate mathematical skill required (concepts and calculations involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.).
- Problem solving skills
- Knowledge of all Credit Union policies and procedures and all branch services and products.
- Professional, welldeveloped interpersonal skills necessary for servicing Credit Union members and projecting a positive image as a representative of the Credit Union.
- Excellent communication skills required, both oral and written, to interact with various levels of staff and Credit Union members.
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

- Banking: 2 years (preferred)
