    Maintenance Supervisor - Northeast Las Vegas, NV

    Our On-Call Maintenance Associates receive a 40% apartment allowance if residing on-site at the property of work.

    ABOUT THIS ASSOCIATE:

    Fairfield properties are synonymous with having an attentive on-site staff that enhances residents' living experience. Our Maintenance Supervisors serve as vital members of our Property Management Teams, ensuring property maintenance and resident satisfaction.

    The Maintenance Supervisor upholds the appearance and maintenance standards of our apartment communities. In a leadership role, this individual oversees a diverse team, makes independent decisions, particularly in emergency situations outside regular hours.

    This role is dynamic and engaging, ideal for someone dedicated to preserving real estate aesthetics and passionate about residential property management careers. Successful individuals in this role may advance into Regional Maintenance Manager positions.

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO IN THIS ROLE:

    PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

    • Coordinate and oversee maintenance repairs across the property.
    • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
    • Remain available around the clock for emergency maintenance and custodial needs.

    OPERATIONS

    • Utilize property management software like Yardi for service requests.
    • Manage budgets and maintain maintenance item inventory.
    • Ensure adherence to policies, safety, and compliance standards.

    TEAM MANAGEMENT & CUSTOMER SERVICE

    • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse maintenance team.
    • Offer timely performance feedback and resolve conflicts.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to residents.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED ON DAY ONE:

    • At least three years of hands-on building maintenance experience.
    • Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
    • HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal certification.
    • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
    • Experience with property management software like Yardi.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
    • Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Availability for on-call duties and after-hours emergencies.
    • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

    *The First-Year Bonus will be divided into two payments after specific employment milestones.

    Estimated Rate of Pay:

    $31.00/hour

    This role is non-exempt, and the hourly rate varies based on skills and experience. Other benefits not included in the salary may apply upon eligibility, such as:
