Accounting Internship

SUMMARY

As a part of our Accounting Internship Program, you will not only play an integral role in the growth and development of our team, you will gain knowledge and experience that will propel your career post-graduation. You will have guided mentorship from some of the greatest leaders in our industry, work closely with our top-performing associates, learn from other department leaders over lunch, and make connections with others in our internship program. JOB DUTIES

Assist in performing general accounting duties such as account reconciliations, preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements, and other financial reporting.
Assist in processing payables and prepare month end accruals.
Support the accounting department in administrative tasks such as manual check runs, pulling invoices for lender reporting, etc.
Potentially communicate with our onsite teams to gather necessary accounting information.
Potentially communicating with vendors and/or suppliers for account reconciliation details.
Supporting the accounting team with any related projects as necessary.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

Must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field from an accredited college or university during the duration of the internship.
Must have obtained 60 credit hours by the start of the internship and of those hours, specialized accounting courses are preferred.
Must be eligible to work in the US without company sponsorship now or for future employment.
Able and willing to work up to 40 hours during the week for the entirety of the Summer Internship Program.
Previous Accounting Internship experience is preferred.
Multifamily experience is preferred.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft and Google platforms.

$18-$21/Hour
