    Description

    A social services organization in Brooklyn is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Director to join their growing staff. In this role, the Clinical Director will be responsible for the programmatic service delivery in partnership with the Program Director.

    Responsibilities:

    The Clinical Director will:

    • Supervise the program's multi-disciplinary team, which will include Social Service Supervisors, Case Managers, and Client Care Coordinators
    • Provide supervision to Social Service Supervisors to troubleshoot client issues, and enhance direct reports clinical case management skills in accordance with program policies, procedures, and protocols
    • Provide clinical supervision to Client Care Coordinators to ensure supportive counseling is provided to clients
    • Provide management oversight to the supportive housing process
    • Train and support staff in the use of Evidence Based Practices (EBP)
    • Conduct audits of the Uniform Client Chart and supporting documentation
    • Establish linkages with appropriate community agencies for services required by shelter residents
    Qualifications:
    • Current NYS LCSW or LMCH license
    • 3+ years of supervisory experience
    • Demonstrated experience facilitating groups and developing curricula
    • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with mental illness and substance abuse
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    Desired Skills:
    • Bilingual, English and Spanish
    • Experience with homeless families
