Shift Leader Job Description
In this position you will assist the Store Manager on all levels when needed. Directly supervise and coordinate activities across all levels of the staff.

Responsibilities:

• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
• Maintain and enhance the company's image when interacting with guests, associates and vendors.
• Must be able to communicate well and get along with others.
• Computer literate.
• Must have open availability, in case of emergencies or callouts.
• Resolve shift callouts by finding coverage according to company policy.
• Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service.
• Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities.
• Resolve customer complaints regarding food service.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.
• Control inventories of food, equipment, small ware, and beer/wine, and report shortages to store manager.
• Recommend measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety.
• Analyze operational problems, such as theft and waste, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems.
• Specify food portions and courses, production and time sequences, and workstation and equipment arrangements.
• Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift.
• Perform food preparation and serving duties.
• Assist in all catering orders.
• Reaches, bends, squats and lifts up to, but not limited to, 50lbs.
• Any and all other duties as assigned or requested. Including placing orders and doing inventory.

Pay:
$ $15.00 per hour


Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (preferred)
• Day Shift (preferred)
