Associate Director, IT Enterprise Applications (G&A)
***- Reporting to the Director of IT Enterprise Applications, the Associate Director, IT Enterprise Applications will serve as the IT business partner to the general and administrative (G&A) functions at ORIC. In this role, the Associate Director will play a critical role in supporting the enterprise business needs of these functions.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
- Partner with the G&A functions at ORIC to understand business drivers and align on priorities.
- Establish and foster relationships with Business Stakeholders and Service Providers.
- Oversee the project management of all G&A systems.
- Execute functional tasks and deliverables of the software/system development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ensure compliance with various regulatory environments (SOX, GxP, EMA, GDPR, Privacy, HIPAA, etc.).
- Develop and manage the change control process for HR, Legal, Facilities, and Finance initiatives.
- Ensure new software integrations meet business requirements, system compliance, testing, validation, and interface specifications.
- Manage all business group enhancement and upgrade requests for managed products.
- Develop and communicate training and documentation for end users, hold clinics as necessary, and perform other enduserrelated activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Proven experience overseeing software solutions' direction, planning, installation, and implementation. Direct, handson experience with server administration tools.
- Experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, GxP, GDPR).
- Strong background in software/system development methodology (i.e., Agile, SDLC, ITIL) and project management/business analysis.
- Project management skills and a strong focus on delivery.
- Ability to navigate from strategic to operational and handson with a sense of urgency and a solutionsoriented filter.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex problems in a nontechnical and simplified manner to stakeholders and endusers and to effectively communicate business needs to technology partners/resources.
- Selfmotivated with a high degree of initiative, excellent followup skills, and strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Comfortable in a fastpaced small company environment with mínimal direction and changing priorities.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
- Minimum bachelor's degree (Computer Science preferred) with at least 6+ years of work experience (Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology
preferred) - Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Project management certification
