Description
We're a small trucking company looking for a results-driven freight sales representative to actively seek out and engage shippers with transportation needs.
Position fits an outgoing person ready to build a portfolio of their own or already has an established book of customers.
Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell expedited cargo van and truck transportation services to prospective customers
- Perform costbenefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Analyze the territory/market or sector potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Skills
- At least 12 years proven work experience as a sales representative
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
