Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations
  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Create innovative menus and develop new recipes
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques
  • Manage inventory levels and control food costs
  • Collaborate with management to create a memorable dining experience for customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
We have prep shifts available as well at $20/hour and work out of our commisary in Esopus ny.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
  • Indepth knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Experience in catering, restaurant, or food industry settings is preferred
