    Description

    The Inventory Associate at SunCoast Communications plays a part in maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing stock levels, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This position will work within the receiving process, collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams for accurate order fulfillment, keep documentation of inventory transactions.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, tracking the movement of telecommunication and networking equipment.
    2. Stock Optimization: Maintain effective inventory control practices to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and support timely order fulfillment.
    3. Receiving and Inspection: Inspecting incoming products for quality and accuracy, and updating inventory accordingly.
    4. Order Fulfillment: Work together with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
    5. Cycle Counts and Audits: Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies promptly.
    6. Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed documentation related to inventory transactions, adjustments, and reports.
    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to operate general office equipment, such as computers, 10-key calculator, scanners and copier.
    • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
    • Ability to compile information and make decisions.
    QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
    • Previous inventory experience preferred
