    About the Company and Job Title

    This job listing is for a Part-time Clinical Nurse position with 32 hours/week at an onsite facility. The position involves variable day shifts with rotating weekends.

    Job Summary

    As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide nursing care and guidance for clinical issues under the direction of physicians at the site.

    Responsibilities

    • Supports provider staff and promotes efficient operation, quality care, and excellent customer service for pediatric patients using a team approach.
    • Precepts new employees and mentors clinical staff.
    • Conducts patient assessments as required.
    • Participates in staff education for clinically related issues.
    • Assesses clinical competency and participates in staff evaluations.
    • Works with patients and families as a health advocate and maintains a positive public image.
    • Provides consultations and facilitates discharge planning.
    • Performs other duties as required.

    Technical Expertise

    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff members to provide quality service.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to work well under pressure, and prioritize tasks.
    • Experience in pediatric ambulatory care is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
    • Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required.
    • Active RN license in Ohio required.
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
    • No prior supervisory experience required.
