Position Description:

We are looking for an Underground Laborer to join our growing team. This individual will be required to adhere to strict safety standards while ensuring the highest quality of work.


Underground Laborer Responsibilities:


  • Operate heavy equipment to trench, place, duct, pull cable and direct bury mainline and drops
  • Use cable placement equipment and tools
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Hand dig and back fill trenches
  • Provide ground support for backhoe and drill operators
  • Carry and load materials to be used on the job site
  • Operate small hand tools
  • Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment, tools and supplies

Underground Laborer Requirements:


  • Valid US driver's license & Class A CDL
  • Some knowledge of the construction industry
  • Ability to operate equipment including, but not limited to, a trencher, a backhoe, excavators, directional drills
  • Familiarity with horizontal direction drills
  • Positive attitude, hard work ethic and a priority for safety
  • Ability to travel and work outside in all types of weather
