We are looking to bring on an Accountant/Sr. Accountant that will be an integral part of our accounting team.

This individual will work closely with the Controller and other team members to handle day-to-day accounting and account reconciliation tasks to ensure timely and accurate month-end close.


Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Assist with monthend, quarterend and yearend close processes.
  • Prepare balance sheet accounts reconciliation and research any discrepancies.
  • Work with other departments to gather, analyze and interpret any relevant financial information.
  • Prepare and record general ledger journal entries as necessary.
  • Periodic review and of balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy of reporting.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable review and collection of outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and maintain fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.
  • Perform other accounting duties and support staff members as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Proficient with accounting systems and apps (QuickBooks Enterprise/Desktop, Excel/Google sheets etc.)
  • Ability to compile and analyze financial information.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • At least three years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
