- Manage and maintain the SQA Program documents to ensure they comply with DOE contractual requirements and INL QA Program needs. Supply software quality assurance SME level input to the INL QA Program to enable efficient implementation of SQA.
- Perform reviews to ensure company, corporate, and DOE requirements are met. Perform surveillances, audits, or assessments, as assigned, to determine compliance with and implementation of Quality Program requirements.
- Identify and interpret software quality requirements, concepts, techniques, and standards applicable to the INL software quality assurance program.
- Assist other Quality Engineers in developing appropriate quality program and project requirements documents. Mentor peers and engineers/researchers and answer questions around developing and maintaining INL quality program requirements, particularly in software quality requirements.
- Contribute to the development of documented processes and systems for implementation of quality requirements and standards, such as NQA-1, IEEE, DOE orders.
- Provide quality program input to line managers for proper implementation of quality program requirements and process improvement.
- Bachelor's degree plus years related experience or Master's degree plus years related experience, or PhD degree plus 2+ years related experience. 13+ years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree may be considered,
- Relevant experience includes previous experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Specialist, nuclear Quality Auditor, nuclear safety software, quality program implementation, NQA-1 knowledge or experience.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
- Salary Grade: PR $95,928 - $158,232) / PR $110,316 - $181,956)
