Description

We are currently seeking a Logistics and Warehouse Manager (m/f/d) for our headquarters in Altenstadt, Hessen, at the earliest possible date for our warehouse department for production and trade goods.

Your responsibilities will include:

Organizing, optimizing, and securing the internal and external logistics chain for cost and timeefficient provision of raw materials and timely delivery of our products to customers.
Managing and coordinating employees in the areas of goods receipt, warehouse, provision, and shipping.
Organizing and optimizing warehouse, picking, and shipping processes.
Creating procedures and work instructions for logistics.
Monitoring inventory and initiating corrective measures in collaboration with other departments.
Ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations for safety and environment in the assigned area.
Negotiating with our shipping companies (prices, service, warranty).
Coordinating transportation and shipping of our products through logistics service providers.
Overseeing logistics cost reporting and controlling.

Your qualifications:

Completed commercial training and ideally further education as a logistics master or a degree with a focus on logistics or equivalent.
Several years of professional experience in logistics and warehouse management, including leadership experience (preferably in mediumsized companies).
Experience with an ERP system and good knowledge of MS Office.
Good English skills.
Proactive, confident, and assertive.
Processoriented, costconscious, and businessminded.
